High-Accuracy Reality Capture Modeling

Project Overview:

FCC received 3D laser scan data for a large villa property and developed a detailed as-built BIM model at LOD 500, covering the full exterior and site scope. Working from the point cloud dataset, the complete existing condition of the villa's facade, landscape, pool, and site structures were modeled with precision, delivering a verified as-built record to directly support the client's renovation and restoration planning.

Scope of Work

  • Full building facade modeled in detail including all exterior walls, architectural features, openings, and envelope geometry
  • Landscape areas documented and modeled capturing ground levels, planting beds, pathways, and hardscape surfaces across the site
  • Pool and surrounding deck areas modeled with accurate geometry reflecting true existing conditions
  • Site structures fully represented including pergolas, boundary elements, and all freestanding architectural features within the property

The full exterior and site scope was modeled to LOD 500, ensuring every element, from the villa facade to the furthest corner of the site, is accurately represented within a single coordinated as-built dataset.
