Project Overview:

FCC delivered a full interior design and FF&E package for Chocolate Sarayi — a warm and inviting artisan cafe where the craft and pleasure of chocolate takes center stage. Drawing on the richness of the name and the artisan character of the concept, the design creates an interior that feels handcrafted, intimate, and genuinely special — a cozy palace of chocolate where every detail has been considered to make guests feel completely at home from the moment they walk in.

Design Concept & Identity

Design concept rooted in the warmth and craftsmanship of artisan chocolate — rich cocoa tones, natural textures, and handcrafted details woven into every aspect of the interior
The "Sarayi" — palace — reference subtly expressed through considered detailing, layered ornamentation, and a sense of care and generosity in the spatial composition without tipping into formality
A warm, enveloping color palette of deep chocolates, caramels, warm ambers, and soft creams creates an immediately cozy and indulgent atmosphere throughout the cafe
Lighting designed to be warm and intimate — soft pools of light over seating areas and carefully positioned accents on display and service elements creating a glowing, welcoming environment
Every design decision made to reinforce a single feeling — that of stepping into a place where chocolate is celebrated as a true craft, and every guest is treated as a valued visitor

Interior Space & Layout

Customer seating areas planned to maximize intimacy and comfort — a variety of seating configurations offering cozy corners, small group tables, and relaxed social arrangements throughout
Service counter and display areas designed as the focal heart of the cafe — showcasing the chocolate offering as both a visual and experiential centerpiece of the interior
Product display and retail elements integrated naturally into the design, allowing the chocolate range to be presented as part of the overall cafe experience rather than a separate retail zone
Ceiling and wall treatments developed to add warmth, depth, and handcrafted character to the space — layered finishes, natural materials, and decorative details contributing to the artisan atmosphere
Circulation planned to draw guests naturally through the full space, allowing the complete interior experience to unfold as they move from entrance to seating

FF&E & Material Selection

Full FF&E package developed and coordinated across all areas covering all seating, tables, service elements, display fixtures, and decorative features within the cafe
Furniture selected to complement the warm artisan concept — natural wood finishes, upholstered seating in rich warm tones, and handcrafted details that reinforce the cozy character of the space
Material palette built around natural and tactile selections — reclaimed timber, warm stone surfaces, textured wall finishes, and soft fabric elements layered to create depth and comfort throughout
Display and service fixtures designed and specified as bespoke elements of the interior, ensuring the presentation of the chocolate offering is as considered as the design of the space itself
All FF&E items fully coordinated to deliver a unified and complete interior — where every piece, from the largest furniture grouping to the smallest decorative detail, contributes to the overall warmth and identity of Chocolate Sarayi
