High-Accuracy Reality Capture Modeling

Project Overview:

FCC received 3D laser scan data for the Lufkin industrial manufacturing facility and developed a comprehensive as-built BIM model working directly from the point cloud dataset. The scope centered on the facility's extensive steel structure, modeling all structural elements as they exist in their true installed condition. Beyond the structural scope, facility-specific equipment including the dedicated overhead crane was also modeled, delivering a complete and accurate as-built record to support the client's facility management and operations needs.
