High-Accuracy Reality Capture Modeling

Project Overview:

FCC received 3D laser scan data for a modern villa and developed a comprehensive as-built BIM model at LOD 500, covering both the full interior and exterior of the property. Working from the point cloud dataset, every architectural element across all interior spaces and the complete building envelope was modeled with precision, delivering a verified as-built record to support the client's documentation and future planning needs.

Scope of Work

  • Complete interior modeling across all spaces including ceiling geometry, floor surfaces, casework, bathroom fixtures, and all fixed architectural elements
  • Full building facade and exterior envelope modeled in detail including walls, openings, and all architectural features
  • Landscape, hardscape, and site elements surrounding the villa documented and modeled as part of the complete scope
  • Doors, windows, frames, and all opening geometry captured with precise positioning throughout the interior and exterior
  • Level changes, terrace areas, and outdoor structures modeled reflecting true existing site conditions

The combined interior and exterior scope ensures the dataset represents the villa in full, from detailed interiors to the surrounding site, within a single, coordinated as-built model.
